GOVNEXT Philippines Summit

Signed into law in 2025, the E-Governance Act marked the turning point for public sector modernization, making digital service delivery a legal obligation across every branch and level of government. Consequently, this shift has established digital governance as a structural imperative, reshaping how the state delivers services to over a hundred million citizens.

Backed by a substantial budget, the Department of Information and Communications Technology is fast-tracking cloud platforms, integrated data ecosystems, and connected government operations across national and local units to achieve a fully unified state administration.

Organised by Tradepass, the third edition of GOVNEXT in the Philippines on 16 – 17 March 2027 will provide a direct access to this burgeoning market. The event will host 600+ officials and decision makers from both National Government Agencies and Primary Local Government Units across the Philippines to delve into next-gen solutions, recent trends and challenges, and forge strategic collaborations with solution providers.

Why Philippines

Few markets in Southeast Asia are advancing as rapidly as the Philippines in scaling its digital landscape. With 98 million internet users and 137 million mobile connections across a population of just over 117 million, the archipelago enjoys the inherent favours of a hyper-connected populace. Backed by a historic $306 million budget for e-government, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is actively shifting public infrastructure into a unified, cloud-first digital backbone.

Drawing on current infrastructure expansions such as the Philippine Digital Infrastructure Project and the National Broadband Program alongside foundational initiatives like GovNet and PhilSys, the operational realities driving the nation’s digital transformation are profound and legally mandated. This momentum presents an exponential opportunity for technology providers, policymakers, and enterprise architects to engage with a market undergoing an unprecedented systemic pivot.
